NASA Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth
I saw this picture on the net and was absolutely blown away by its beauty and serenity. It shows the Bay of Biscay from the International Space Station and, although the lights of population show business as usual, there is such a calmness in it. I feel like I am the astronaut looking out of the window at the world below and all is peace. The contrast between the world we see and the world we know and experience is vast, but sometimes it’s good to just enjoy.
